Ladies at Lunch Again!

Elaine Hawkinson and Barb Ottinger are the new co-chairs of LALA's for this year. LALA's was formed in 2001 to encourage friendships and to welcome new residents of Ricefields to the community and that continues to be the focus of the group.

We would like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to join us for lunch on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Restaurants are located within 12 miles of Ricefields. If you haven't attended for awhile, come and renew acquaintances or meet new friends.

We would love to see you there! 

2008 LaLa Luncheons
 3rd Thursdays of each Month, at 11:30 am

  • April 17 - The Oak Grill Room, Pawleys Plantation

  • May 15 - Bistro 217, 10707 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island (Very near Island Deli on Hwy. 17, South)

  • June 19 - Captain Dave’s Dockside, 4037A Business Highway 17, Murrells Inlet (Business 17 on Water side)

  • !! Note !! - At the March luncheon, it was decided that we would NOT meet during JULY and AUGUST, but resume our luncheons in SEPTEMBER 2008.

There is a voluntary 50-50 raffle each month to
help support the Ricefields Christmas Party.

The LaLa's

Once a month we all meet
to sit and talk and laugh and eat.

There's the banker, and the mother.
getting to know one another.

She's a worker, she's retired,
she's looking for a job cause she just got fired.

"Didn't I see you the other day at the pool.
I forgot your name, please don't think I'm a fool."

"Hey, aren't you the one with that cute little dog,
When I see you that early, I'm usually in a fog."

"This is so much fun, and the food is divine!
I can't wait to see where we will go next time!"

I've had so much fun, making all these new friends.
I just can't wait for the next "Ladies At Lunch Again."
